I'm Going The Distance

Heavenly Father,

I'm so grateful that at this time in my life, Your precious Word comforts me. It is written in Your Word that Jesus prayed for You to send another Comforter, the Holy Spirit, who would abide with me forever. (John 14:16)

Therefore, I come boldly into the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help me in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

Jesus came to give the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Therefore, in Jesus' name, I now receive the oil of joy, and I put on the garment of praise in exchange for sadness and depression. I will not mourn as those who have no hope. (Isaiah 61:2-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13) .

I thank You for causing all things to work out for my good, because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. (Romans 8:28)

I receive love and comfort through fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Your strength enables me to show love, affection and mercy to others. (Philippians 2:1-2)

In times of tribulation and crisis, Your comforting Word strengthens me. I share that Word to comfort others who are in trouble. (2 Corinthians 1:4)

I receive love and comfort through fellowship and the Holy Spirit; Your strength enables me to show love, affection and mercy to others. (Philippians 2:1)

I will confess your Word, and Your merciful kindness will comfort me. (Psalms 119:76)

I call on You when I feel faint with heaviness, and Your Word strengthens me. I share that Word to comfort others who are in trouble. (2 Corinthians 1:4)

Lord, because I believe in You and Your Son Jesus, I will not let my heart be troubled. (John 14:1)

You are with me wherever I go. Therefore, I am strong and courageous, I am not fearful, or dismayed. (Joshua 1:9)

I can rejoice at all times and in the midst of situations, for I have cast my care on You, Lord. Your sustaining power keeps me immovable, regardless of what may be shaken around me. (Philippians 4:4; Psalms 55:22)

I do not worry about anything. Instead, I pray about everything and I thank You for providing what I need. As I do, the peace of God, which is more wonderful than the human mind can understand, will guard my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6, 7)

Thank You for keeping me in perfect peace as I keep my thoughts focused on You. (Isaiah 26:3)

You are my protector, Your right hand shelters me and keeps me from all harm. (Psalm 121:5)

I always trust in You, Lord, for in You I have everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26:4)

You give power to the faint. And to them that have no might, you increase strength. Thank you, Father, for providing strength at this time in my life. (Isaiah 40:29)

I know that not all of us who believe in Jesus will die, but we will all be transformed. It will happen in a moment, as quickly as the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet is blown, those who have died in Christ will be raised incorruptible, with transformed bodies. I find comfort in knowing that we who are living at that time will be transformed so that we will never die. For our perishable earthly bodies must be transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die. Then the Scripture will come to pass that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Death has no sting! The grave has no victory! Thank You, Father God, for giving me the victory through my Lord Jesus. Therefore, I am giving me the victory through my Lord Jesus. Therefore, I am steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:51-58)
