The Bridge - A place where God and man meet.

We Exist To:

EQUIP the Saints to reach their destiny;
EXPRESS the Kingdom in all we do;
ENGAGE the world with a message that matters.

The Bridge Birmingham exists by the will and purpose of God to be a place of refuge where Christ is calling out to the nations, inviting all who by God’s grace recognize their poverty and their thirst to come and drink from the well supplied with waters from above (our former name - Cahaba - means “waters from above”) that never runs dry.  The current and continual mission of The Bridge is to serve God as a part of the Body of Christ, to lift up our Lord Jesus Christ and to make His names known in our communities, cities and to the uttermost parts of the earth.  The Bridge strives to be a body that is seeking after righteousness through the study of the Word, the planting of seeds of salvation through the teaching of the Word, and cultivating the growth of the fruit of the Spirit through the application of the Word in our daily lives, both corporately and individually.  We will aid other ministries, both domestic and foreign, in spreading the Gospel message of the Cross and training believers to walk out their calling for the glory of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 55:5) and equip them to “Go” into both domestic and foreign fields of harvest, making disciples for Christ.  We accept our calling to serve Christ as part of an army that is disciplined and equipped to wage spiritual warefare on the kingdom of darkness, as called for and authorized by the understanding and application of His Word.
