Vision

The vision of Freedom in Christ is to bring the freedom, healing and wellness, offered by Jesus Christ, to the whole person—spirit, soul and body. The power of Christ is able to progressively set us free from the imprisonment each life has constructed for itself through wrong choices, false principles and core values that have been accepted as truth, and emotionally unhealthy and dysfunctional environmental upbringing.
OUR VISION IS...
...to minister healing, wholeness and freedom in CHRIST!
Healing--both inner healing of the heart and physical healing
(Isaiah 61:1, 2; Mark 2:17; Matthew 13:15; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:14-17)
Wholeness--God’s design is for us to be complete and mature in Christ (Ephesians 4:13, 15)
Freedom-- knowing Jesus personally is ultimate freedom
(Luke 4:18; John 8:36; 10:10b; I John 5:12; Romans 8:1, 2; Galatians 5:1)
RECOGNIZING...
e God our Father calls people to a living and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
(John 6:44);
e God has committed to us the message of reconciliation
(II Corinthians 5:19);
WE ARE LETTING GOD work in us to know Jesus, and through us to lead others to know Him in:
e a vibrant personal prayer life
(I Thessalonians 5:17; John 14:13, 14; 16:23, 24)
e personal and corporate worship that is centred on God and filled with Spirit and truth
(John 4:23, 24)
e the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit
(John 7:37-39; 14:16, 17; Romans 8:9, 15)
e ministering each individual’s spiritual gifts to others
(I Peter 4:10; Matthew 25:34-40)
