Psalm 105:19 “ Until the time that his word came: the Word of the Lord tried him.”

This scripture is talking about Joseph and the trials he went through before being made Prime Minister of Egypt second only to Pharaoh in the chain of command for the world’s most powerful nation ever. Since we are talking about Divine healing here you might ask what does this have to do with my physical body and its ability to heal?

Well, let me begin by saying that time is the measuring rod between ignorance and hope. Hope then eventually turns into faith and at that point faith yielded to the love that God has for you equals healing and health. For instance when Joseph was given his fair coat by his father Jacob he must have felt suddenly like some significant something or other was going to happen that distinguished him for all the others. He went from not knowing that to knowing that. Ignorance to hope. Hope knows something specific will happen but doesn’t know when.

 If you look at Hebrews 11:1 it says, “Now faith is, …” Right there a specific timeframe is given for faith. It is always in the now if it is faith. If it is not right now, then it is not faith, it is hope. Now with that said let me explain something else to you about faith for healing. You may touch yourself in that area that hurts or is infected or whatever and feel no different physically. But, if you qualify for true biblical faith then inside your heart your spirit where God and His Word are you know that it is simply a matter of time before your physical world sees what the eyes of your heart already know. “By His stripes you were healed,.” I Peter 2:24.

So the question remains how do I get to true biblical faith that receives right now? Well let’s do something first for ourselves because for many of you time may be of the essence. Isaiah 30:26 says, “Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of His people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.”

At nite you accomplish what it would take an entire day to do. And during the day you accomplish a week’s worth. After a month you have achieved in the Lord 31 times 7 = 217 days worth of investing and progressing, two thirds of a year by doing things God’s way. Joshua and Hezekiah saw the sun stand still for them or go forwards for them. Time is no problem for God. So it is not a problem for you either. You either are or are not His child. If you are then your heavenly Father is limitless in time, space, and power. Know this wherever you are.

So the pressure of the moment has just been dissolved right there. Now let’s move on urgently not because time is against us but because what we need has already occurred for us we just simply need to convince our spirits of it. Which in turn, will cause our spirit by the Word to dominate our natural minds and then correct the problem in our bodies.

I say the word urgently because I want to emphasize that duration, and intensity together are powerful forces if applying God’s Word correctly. I remember it taking 5 years to receive the healing of my eyesight. I used to have to wear glasses. It was on my driver’s license and everything. But I found out that Jesus provided healing now in present times, and I started doing the things I’m telling you. However, since it wasn’t life threatening and I was busy praying for everybody else I didn’t press continually and intensely the meditation and confession and soul searching like I would had it been something else. I simply took my time and let it happen. It did and now after passing multiple eye exams it is not a requirement on my driver’s license and I am completely healed. It used to be 20/40 now it’s 20/20. I knew things were improving because I would be in West Town Mall and be ordering Taco Bell and say things like I can really read that menu. Then it would fade into fogginess again but over time it stayed. I know not how except that it did according to what I’m telling you here. Time and intensity are your friends, now. And so is the Word of God!

Only God knows to what extent preconditioning, past experiences, false beliefs, opinions, hang ups, unforgiveness, laziness, blindness, deceptions stand in the way of instant total manifestation of your physical healing, not you. So the only one qualified to convince you on the deepest level, your spirit level, beyond your subconscience, and your mind is His Word. If when you pray to receive your healing and it doesn’t instantly manifest inside you then you and He will need to do what He told Joshua in chapter 1 verse 8- meditate. Why am I saying this to you now? Well it’s because there is healing for anyone who wants it yet many never get it. McDonald’s, or let’s just say the fast food movement and the microwave are two reasons we falter. We stand tapping our foot waiting for the 1 minute reheat to give us our food wondering why it’s taking so long and we need two lines at the 24 hour drive thru now not just one because we want it and we want it now!! And guess what you are like that also. This process of healing is just like the way it works on your job. You don’t get paid if you don’t put the time in…

Remember faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word. If you hear and hear and study and roll over in side your self the verses in the Bible that tell you healing is yours, eventually, over time, something inside you like a light bulb will come on. And you will know that you know that you know healing is for you. And if it’s for you then, it’s for you right now for free also. See Isaiah 55:1,2. In fact the Word calls your spirit the candlestick of the Lord, which He uses to light or illuminate your path with. Listen to me now. If your spirit doesn’t get it at first that’s, okay stick with it like you would your favorite bowl of ice cream it may burn your brain a little, but eventually you will get to the bottom of the bowl. Why? Because you want it!

Look at Ephesians 3 “..that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened…” with what you ask? With the knowledge that Jesus is your healer the same way you realize that Jesus is your Savior. It takes time. Especially if you have never been introduced to this knowledge. Or even if you have heard this before but for whatever reason you either didn’t need it or you just didn’t personalize at the spirit’s level.

And so you can better identify with this process look at what the scripture says about John the Baptist and our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. Realize you are not alone in this. Nor are you exempt from learning and growing in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Luke 1:80 it says, “And the child (John) grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts until the day of his showing unto Israel.” And in Luke 2:40, “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon Him.”

I am convinced that although Jesus never sinned He did have to discover and accept and act upon the fact that He was the Son of God. How else could He really be the Son of man and the Son of God? He couldn’t identify with my temptations if He didn’t have to get His the same way I have to get mine. However fast and deep, it happened.

 When the day came for Jesus to begin His public ministry it says in Luke 4:16, “ And He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto Him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, He found the place where it was written, The Spirit of Lord was upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And He closed the book, and He gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on Him. And He began (He didn’t get finished because they didn’t listen to Him) to say unto them , This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.”

Look right here at some things. He publicly declared by faith what He had been meditating on privately. Remember He was as a boy asking questions and confounding them (the doctors of the law) with His wisdom. He was working out His own destiny right there in front of them. They were okay with His wisdom but when He announced His candidacy, if you will, based on His revelation that He was the promised Messiah they went ballistic and tried to throw Him off a cliff to kill Him. Isn’t that just like your own mind when you start to demand things that are freely given to you by the Word like healing. It, and unfortunately others, sometimes even those closest to you, are offended by it. This is important to you because we really don’t wrestle with flesh and blood and we are to cast down vain imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We are to be transformed like a butterfly, by the renewing of our mind by the Word of God. Can you see all this? Fear not if you are walking it out. Just like a seed underground or like a barren tree in winter just because you can’t see what’s going on with your natural eyes doesn’t mean things are not coming up or out for you. I promise you and the Word promises you that like a duck on top of the water things are happening for you today. Those little legs are turning underneath the water even though you can’t see them.

Look at Luke 13:18,19 “ Then said He, ‘Unto what is the kingdom of God like? And where unto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.” Consequently, I believe Jesus is also this same man in this parable who used His mustard seed , his life, and cast it into His garden (Gethsemane) and it grew into a great tree (Calvary) and the fowls of the air (Gentile converts) lodged in the branches (Jews) but that is another story altogether.

Watch how it grows as you meditate. Look also at Paul as he accepts his call from God to the Gentiles and his process. Galatians 1:15, “ But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by His grace. To reveal (spirit of revelation) His Son in me, that I might preach Him (fresh revelation) among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood (that is not where the battle is besides flesh and blood consider God’s revelations foolishness anyway they wouldn’t understand) Neither went I up to Jerusalem (the popular crowd called before him) to them which were apostles before me; but I went unto Arabia (a desert place) and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years…” Many think Paul was gone 17 years. Remember 2Cor12:2 ‘ I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago whether in the body, I cannot tell or out of the body  I cannot tell: God knoweth such a man whether in the body or out of the body I cannot tell: God knoweth how that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

 In 2 Cor Paul was obviously talking about himself here but notice that he was caught up while in a desert place and heard revelatory things… Remember the Apostle John when he was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day and was caught up…where he received the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Also Daniel’s life is a testament to visions and revelations and he was most definitely a man of dedicated prayer and meditation discipline out of a love for Almighty God. Then there is Ezekiel and Isaiah who all had revelations and spiritual visions consistently. Why not you!

Sound like what we have been talking about here and receiving what is yours. I Cor 12:7 “ And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of revelations…”  Doesn’t this sound like the process of receiving healing that we have been discussing here.  Know that like a magnet your heart having been filled up with God’s Word concerning healing attracts to it the things that are stored up in it. If you need healing the stock of your heart will not only open up to it but draw to itself the thing you need. Jesus said if you abide in Me and My words abide in you, you shall ask whatsoever you will and it will be granted you by My father. This is the secret or the key. This is how you can put into practice Mark 11:22-24, “ Believing you receive that thing you ask for when you pray because your spirit has already grabbed it out of the invisible realm for you. Don’t be surprised when it manifests itself!

 The Word is living and alive and will not return void to the Father without accomplishing the thing whereunto it was sent. His Word about healing, Isaiah 53:5, 3John2, I Peter 2:28, Exodus 23:25, Ps 103:3, Mat 8:17, Mk 16:18 were all sent to you to perform the Lord’s will and if applied according to meditation, and confession, then healing has to manifest in the same way that a ball falls to the ground. If thrown up in the air because of the law of gravity it will come back down again.

 Note here also that any unconfessed sins such as unforgiveness must be addressed as well. You must be living right too. Sin will block things up for you much in the same way hair clogs a drain. Maintain your pipes and the healing water will flow. Anger, bitterness, rage, hypocrisy, etc all need Holy Ghost Draino. Ask the Spirit am I out of line here with anybody? What can I do to rectify the situation?

Let’s get over into getting revelation into our spirits. We have talked about meditating on specific scriptures concerning healing. We have touched on confessing these same scriptures over your situation.

Let’s also talk about the importance of speaking in other tongues with interpretation. Paul says here in I Corinthians 14:18 and verse 2 “That I thank God, I speak with tongues more than you all…” Verse 13 says he also prays for the interpretation. And “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue, speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” Mysteries that are interpreted are revelations. He speaketh revelations. Just like Paul. Peter said some of Paul’s words were hard to understand. In my opinion Peter just didn’t get it. Paul did. All through the Word Jesus before His death and after is having to tell Peter and His disciples things that He felt they should have been getting all along. Remember the sheet and the Gentiles. Paul got it. Peter even kept falling back about this particular revelation because of pressure from the Jews. He would eat with the Gentiles until his Jewish homeboys came along. Remember Paul rebuking Peter about this hypocrisy?

Let’s put some other things together here for a minute. Let’s talk about the importance of revelation knowledge in your spirit versus just mentally agreeing with something that you have read or heard over and over. I Cor 2:9-11 says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, ear hath not heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared (He hath prepared a table for me in the presence of mine enemies) for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of which is in him?(You can’t be objective with where you are only God can. You need searching. You might be closer than you think. It might just be two or three things stopping the manifestation or it might simply be It just takes time to plow the ground, sow the seed, and receive the harvest.)

“Even so know the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God”…v14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him. Neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. See that? The  Word there in your spirit with the Holy Spirit can discover, discern, and diagnose what’s yours nobody else is qualified. It goes on to say that v15, “ But he that is spiritual judgeth (discerns) all things (spiritual and natural) yet he himself (his spirit) is judged of no man”

Look at the continual call from God’s Spirit throughout His Word to us in Jeremiah 33:3, “ Call unto Me and …(it’s ongoing remember the Jews at the wailing wall going back and forth muttering the Word and keeping their flesh under.) Our lives around this subject of healing need to be a continual Wailing Wall built up by the Holy Ghost and His Word. “ I will show you great and mighty things which thou knowest not.”

Here it is again the prayers of Paul. Eph 1:17,18 “ That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of  Him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that ye may know … Also Eph 3:20 Now unto ‘Him that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us…See right there within us not at the doctor’s office, nor our friends house, or our minds, or even on some vacation somewhere. It’s there in our spirits. In the New Testament help doesn’t come from the hills it comes from within, where God lives.

Col 1:12 “ Giving thanks unto the Father which hath made us able to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light”…through the renewing of our mind.

How is this accurately done? Romans 12:2 calls it a sacrifice of our mortal bodies unto God. It’s work plain and simple. It takes time. It’s not fair to need to believe for healing. It’s not fair to need to take time off to get in your spirit the Truth you need when you are busy. It’s not fair to live on Planet Earth. So get up there in your understanding seated at the right hand of the Father, joint- heirs with Jesus Christ. Get what is rightfully yours no matter what the cost is.. You would if it were some promotion you wanted or some place you wanted to visit. Why not get your healing. Sacrifice pride for understanding. Sacrifice time for Truth and revelation. Sow your spirit full of the Divine Health of God that is yours by the Authority of Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior. Take a risk with your schedule and lose this obsession with time!

Psalm 42:11, “ Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted-(it was quiet up in here till sickness hit!!) within me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.”

Build a bridge for yourself to your answer. It starts with hope. I mean bible hope that takes over when you have come to the end of yours. Just like Father Abraham did. He hoped against hope and staggered not at the promises of God. Hope according to Hebrews 11:1 is substantial. It knows there is a day coming when it will manifest. It has read the stories of Jesus ministry and the book of Acts over and over. It knows it can and will happen. It’s real. It is also an anchor to the soul when storms of negligence and adversity hit. People’s words slip in and deflate our balloons, or time goes by without measurable change. Hope knows a day is coming when I will be well.

 Then seemingly without warning light, electricity, warmth, a sense of peace and an inner knowing converge and you realize that you know without a shadow of a doubt that you are the healed right now. Jesus already was beaten for me. 2000 years ago it happened. It’s not going to happen. It already has. Why didn’t I see this before? Oh, the revelation of it hadn’t hit me yet.  But it has now. It’s mine!! No one, not even myself (natural mind) can convince me differently. It shows up in my words…By His stripes I am healed…even when a Charismatic Spirit-Filled tongue talking believer that you go to church with (who has heard and seen all the healing sermons demonstrated)  says “Okay right, I know that’s your “faith” confession but what does the last doctor’s report say come on we’ve got to be balanced now. I know you’ll get there eventually.

NOOOOO!!!!!! I’m healed right now not someday…NOWWWW!!!! Faith is now…Hebrews 11:1 It is the coupled together the substance and the evidence of things not seen. It’s the ingredients and the finished product manifested of what I need. It’s a picture or a vision inside my spirit of me well!!

And then the love of God comes along and manifests the healing. Love hopes all things, believes all things, is patient is kind and doesn’t take into it’s ledger any wrong suffered. My faith worked it out because God loves me, right now. He loves me right now!! Right now! Lord I praise you that You did heal me and I worship You. You do love me and have already healed me. My faith worked through His love for Me. Faith worketh by love. Galatians 5:6.

He wishes nothing evil on me. He thinks nothing ill towards me. I am walking in love towards the people I meet. And now abideth faith, hope and love …His perfect love cast out all my fears and I am well now. Right now.

Let’s go let the doctor know and all my friends. I remember how I got pulled over for having a busted taillight on my trailer. He asked to see my driver’s license, which said I was supposed to be wearing glasses and I had stupidly already thrown them away since I was seeing clearly. But had not gone to the doctor about it. He told me to go get my eyes checked and if I passed the test they would clear that off for me. I did and they did. Sears vision center cleared me and the Drivers testing center cleared me. Glory to God. The lady at the vision center said, “Wow your eyes have gotten better did you have laser surgery? I said yeah, holy Ghost laser surgery. And I told her what I’ve been telling you. She didn’t believe me though. I think she was scared if word got out that Jesus still hooked people up in the 21st century she would be out of a job!!

Remember Jesus stood up in the synagogue (a collection of friends, neighbors and strangers) and said Today I am your Messiah….That’s what He was attacked for because He told the world with His mouth and believed through this process of revelation that He is who we are looking for. Not what or where or why or when. He is Who! Now you go and get what’s yours!! Healing or anything else you need from the Word.
