Day 1- Healing“Jesus still physically heals today!?” I asked David. “Yes.” He said, smiling. “Have you ever seen this happen? Have you ever done this?” I retorted. The answer was always,"Yes."
I guess I was the last human on earth to be in the know about God. It really felt this way. I mean I was 21 years old and well on my way academically(All-Conference every year and two year nominee All-American) and athletically( over a 1,000 points scored, numerous three-point records and possibly overseas after graduation), but I knew nothing about Jesus Christ. I met Him that summer in a dramatic encounter late one night on a basketball court in Farragut, Tn. Other than the initial meeting I was raw, much like a blank tablet.
Now here was this guy telling me all this time I’ve been alive Jesus physically heals people. I was freaking out. Every class I’m in at MarsHillCollege someone is ill, either really sick or faking it to skip class. We ought to be able to check this out fairly easily.
A month later after searching out the bible on this topic for myself I got the opportunity to pray successfully for someone with a terminal brain tumor the size of a golf ball. I’ll tell you how it happened in day 2.
Say this out loud today ”Father I commit to seek out your Word in a concordance for myself concerning health, healing, heal, heals, healed, and healeth today!”

Day 2- So it was late one Thursday night on campus at Mars Hill College and 12 of us were kicking around the MEthodist Church that stayed open all night for students to talk, do homework, read, pray, or just do whatever. Janine walked in crying, but trying to hide that fract when I asked her out loud, " Why are you crying?"
She explained that her mom had been given 6 months to live with or without surgery because of a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. she wasn't sleeping at night and had been experiencingn tremendous heaadaches. Recently, I had read a book by Kenenth E. Hagin that explained how to plead our case with the Lord. From Isaiah 43:26 he taught that by finding scripture that covers our need we could in effect touch heaven for the answer by ministering to the Lord His Word in prayer and intercession until we got a note of breakthrough.
what this means is we pray out loud scriptures pertaining to health and healing since Janine's mom needed healing from the tumor. And we should speak out those scriptures creating an atmosphere of faith in which to believe God for her. We would know we got the answer when in our bellies or our spirits so to speak we felt a release, sort of like a whoosh inside tha we broke through to victory concerning the tumor.
It sounds so easy to do. It is. It's simple childlike faith! Isn't that what Jesus said we needed to even see the kingdom of heaven? So with all 12 of us praying in unison the Lord's Word concerning health and healing we touched heaven about 20 miniutes into it. 5 days later we were told that upon further x-rays Janine's mother was well and that she was not going to die!
Say this today, "Father I am healed in Jesus Name. I will live and not die! I beleive I receive my health and healing each day I need it."

Day 3- Health and Healing. We all need one or the other! today as I was ministering to a group of men I was explaining the principle of seed time and harvest. You might call it sowing and reapipng. Jesus said when explaining this principle that if you didn't understand this process then you would not understand how the kingdom of heaven works. You might be saved. You might go to church and read your bible, but if you don't sow seed on purpose you will forever remain in the dark about how things work here on earth. Jesus sowed a seed in Isaiah 53:5 for us. He in that verse paid the price for our healing anytime we needed it. It's already been done. It's already happenend for us. He is not goign to do something new to obtain it for us. It is ours present tense. To receive what he did for us in this verse we need to sow the truth of that scripture into our hearts daily by meditating in the Word around healt and healing until it gets deep into our spirits subconsciuosly. Then when faced with illness or disease of any knid we will speak the truth to it and it will go! There is no other way. If you have a need plant a seed.
I used to have wear glasses. It was on my driver's license and everything. Now I don't. I stood for five years in faith doing exactly what I'm telling you. I've had other things to change immediately. I've seen many instantaneous healings here and overseas such as cancer, deaf ears opening, crutches no longer needed, pains, headaches, cysts, growths, tumors, epilepsy, mood swings, and on and on. Using this principle will get you whatever you need from God. And it will help you to keep whatever it is that you have gotten from Him.
Say this today " Father I believe I receive from your Word whatever I need based on seed time and harvest."

Health and Healing Day 4- I have a friend that works in the emergency room of a hospital here in Knoxville or rather I should say did for 18 years. Recently they got promoted to a position at a private facility doing nurse work there. Better pay and better hours and a better choice of clientele is a promotion that I’m describing here. Anyway, when I met them they were still at the large public hospital working late night shifts. I opened them up to the idea that Mark 16:18 was a workable verse for them today just as much as it was the early disciples. It says that if we preach the gospel to folks Jesus would work signs and wonders with us to the effect that when we laid hands on sick folks they would get healed in His Name. All we had to do was believe it!
In fact she suffered from a throat condition and said to prove what I’m telling you is true I will pray for you in this way and Jesus will manifest His healing presence upon her and the throat condition would disappear. I did. Jesus did, and it did!!
From that moment on she began to look for ways to incorporate this principle on her job. One day a boy came across her table to be prepped for surgery. Feeling prompted to lay hands on him she prayed in Jesus name for him to be healed. Without telling a soul what she had done she left him there ready for surgery. Much to the chagrin of the parents, the doctors found themselves having to explain why, that when they opened the young man up, they did not find what was on the last X-ray.
Hearing of this situation the nurse told me that it didn’t dawn on her to have the doctors do a follow up X-ray before surgery. For one thing it’s ver likely that they would not have given in to such a request and this being the first time she had prayed for a sick person to be well I think it really caught her by surprise.
The qualification is that you believe!
Say this with me today “ Father, I believe. Lead me to a sick person today that I can lay hands on a pray in Jesus Name to be well!”
Scripture for today “ Mark 16:18 “…believers shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.”
Day 5- Health and Healing
She was lying there on the gurney stretched out about to go into surgery. Her husband was standing in front of numerous huge medical machines and her mother was directly behind her. It was from the natural standpoint of view ominous, a bit intimidating. However, I was to ignorant to know better than that she was coming home without surgery!
A swollen stomach was what I was told. Really, what had happened was a cyst had ruptured on her ovary and caused fluid to be released into her stomach, hence the pregnant looking woman in front of me. All I was asked to do was just be there.
To me however it looked like I was going behind enemy lines to get someone. So I did with God’s help.I explained to her about the lady that we had prayed for 6 months earlier to be healed of a brain tumor and she was. I shared various faith building scriptures with her concerning health and healing. And when the room was ripe with an atmosphere of faith I layed hands on her according to Mark 16:18. She went home that day without surgery!
The doctor explained after she implored him to take another x-ray before he operated on her that she was well and he could not explain why. Actually she told him that he was not going to operate on her until he did take another x-ray because God had healed her! He thinking she was a lunatic finally agreed and came back shaking his head, saying it must be a miracle of some sort.
The unsaved husband witnessed the entire event and gave his heart to the Lord. Together they began serving in the church. And the epilepsy that she had been suffering from was gone and the 10 different medications she was taking, Prozac, and the like were flushed down the commode. She had been completely healed by the power of God!
Say this today,” Lord it is never to late for You to operate! I refuse to ever put you in a box again. Use me today to bless someone with Your life giving healing power resident in my hands because of your Holy Spirit’s anointing on me in Jesus Name Amen.”
Scripture for today, Mark 16:18 “They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Day 6-His coach called me on the phone and said could I pray for his star basketball player. He had blown out his knee and the doctor had given him two choices. One, season ending knee surgery for a torn meniscus and ACL or months of rehabilitation with the threat of always needing surgery. I said give me a few minutes with him first before I pray to teach him about Divine Healing. I got him in the locker room the next day and began to explain the scriptures to him about health and healing. After I laid hands on him I told him to dedicate this season to God for the healing he would see him perform when he had gone back to the doctor for a follow up. My club at Karns High is on Tuesdays and his doctor's appointment was on Monday. He met me at the door of the auditorium on Tuesday morning at 7:45 am with a smile across his face. He was 5'6" as a Freshman and now had grown to 6'6" going into his senior year. The doctor had cleared him completely to play saying everything had healed up! The coach was just shaking his head!
You see God is real! He is still manifesting His healing power otday. He's even doing it here in America and not just overseas somewhere! Call on Him in faith today.
Say this today, " Lord I receive You as my Healer. You are the GOd that healeth me! in Jesus Name Amen."

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee."
Day 7- Perfect is all I can say. I mean sometimes things just work out, and that's how this was. I had left a book on Divine Healing outside the door of my hotel room in Charlotte, NC. We had played Wingate university earlier that day and relaxed that nite at the Waffle House for dinner. In the course of the night's conversations we were witnessing to a taxi cab driver. The Christian Semi-pro team I was playing on was extremely vocal about their faith in God wherever we went. It didn't matter who or where we were it was always "on" with us!
So this guy started asking questions about healing and the guys on the team set him next to me and "Dunkin" Dwayne. Dwayne was my friend of all friends on that team. H eand I were like two peas in a pod. He was the 6' 10" pod but nevertheless identical in our faith. We were doing our best to answer his questions when I told him about a Charles and Francis Hunter book I would leave for him outside our door that night. He said he would come by and grab it after his run to the airport. The next morning as we were leaving the janitor asked were we a basketball team? I said yes, a Christian team. He said that we must hav ebeen the ones to drop that book he found that morning. I said actually we left it for someone else. He told me he would get it form the laundry room and the Holy Ghost told me to follow him in there. When we walked in a cleaning lady was devouring the pages of the book. I thought I could see steam coming off it!
So anyway he reached for it and I said no, let her have it. I then started flowing in a word of knowledge found in 1 Cor 12. I told her that I thought that a story I was about to tell her was relevant to her situation somehow. So I told her that someone 6 months ago that had a cyst was healed as I laid hands on her and prayed for her to be well in Jesus name.
She said, "Did you say a cyst? I have 12 right now." I said, "No you don't and rebuked them!" I said, "Come over here." I just barely put my finger on her forehead to pray, and she collapsed in my arms under the power of God. I said, Go back to your doctor and have him confirm this. You are healed in Jesus name! Here is my name and address. Let me know what he says." A deep voice from the back of the room said "Leave me one too!" Everyone was watching this take place.
Say this with me today, " The power of God is present to heal me now!"

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
Day 8- I'm in business and ministry. One scratches the other's back, and somtimes they collide for God. I passed a couple the other day walking through their neighborhood. I was on my way to do some work at their house. It dawned on me how amazing it was to see them like that. It was not to long ago he was in the hospital for some serious stuff.
I stopped by there to visit him on the way home from a ministry meeting with Second Harvest. Tired of hearing the negative reports about his health condition and one of my favorite customers I simply took the authority God gave each and everyone of us, went in his room, laid hands on him in Jesus Name and commanded him to be well.
The next week he was home and has gotten better ever since. We are to blame for not taking the scriptures more seriously. I realize everyone has had people die. I know everyone has questions, but why not go there after you have studied health and healing for 15 years, laid hands on countless numbers of people and seen first hand those with cructhes discard them at the simple touch of God. Why not do Mark 16:18 then see for yourself, and let the hidden things belong to the Lord?
Why be negative? Jesus wondered if He would really find faith whne He returned. Will He in our personal lives? Everyone knows the end is near. His glorious return is imminent, but is that going to be how we want Him to find us?
Say this today, " Father lead me to that special place of faith that trusts like a little child. You are no different today than 2 thousand years ago. I trust You now. Teach me Health and Healing! In Jesus Name Amen."

Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:"
Matthew 18:3-5 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me."
Health and Healing Day9- I know that my intention here is to see physical healing to occur with anyone who reads this or for them to maintain or improve on an already existing good health disposition. However, not all physical healing can be gotten without first realizing some soulish security first. In 3John2 it says, " I pray above all things that thou prosper and be in good health even as thy soul prospers." You see here is a direct connection to your physical health and your soul. You are a spirit, you have a soul, and you live in a body. Your soul consists of your mind, wil, and emotions. In Jer 30:17 it says ," For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after."
Sometimes we need a touch of God in our emotions or our minds before we can really be willing and able to receive our physical healing. Look in Luke 5:17 "And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them."
Everyone there could have gotten healed and yet as you read on only one is recorded as getting his.I'm sure others needed healing but they were unwilling for what ever reason to receive.So it's important to note that you have a part to play in this. It will not just fall on you like ripe cherries off of a tree.
Say this today, " Father I yield my will to You to be healed. The places inside my soul that need Your heavenly;y touch I ask for that right now! In Jesus Name Amen."

Day 10- Without a doubt praying for sick folks is one of the funnest things to do as a Christian. But what's even more fun is when you can influence someone to do so. And whenmy little girl at the age of 3 went over to her girlfriend and laid hands on her and commanded her to be well in the Name of Jesus I almost cried. You know the two of them are still close to this day, and I don't know if my daughter remembers doing that or not but I will never forget it.
That's what Jesus was doing when He was here in the flesh the first time. He was showing us how to do the works of God! In fact He himself said He was imitating His Father and that nothing He did was of His own doing.
Let us remember to influence others for the gospel today!
Say this today, " Father I choose to imitate You. Reveal in the scriptures to me Your Will to heal! I will obey!In Jesus Name Amen!"

John5:19-20 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel."
