Let Everything That Has Breath,
Are you giving yourself to God fully in worship? Or are you giving your talents to others through His love as a worship to Him?
Worshipping God is more than singing songs in a church service. More than singing in the choir or worship team. More than going to church at all. Worship is giving to God when you give of yourself in your time and talents to others. Whether it be during a church service, while working, or just simply during your daily chores.
It's not limited to buying coffee or paying for someone's dinner as a witness. But, it includes whatever you can give to others; not just your family members or people you just want to help because you have compassion for them. But, help the people who sometimes hurt you or do wrong to you intentionally to get ahead.
Bless those who scorn you. Love your enemies. This is worship to God and more easily said than done BUT, try it, start small. Bless a coworker who's been spreading rumors about you. Be nice to that spouse whose way of loving you is void of compassion and tender kindness toward you.
You will grow in the blessings of God and mature in the concepts He desires to teach you. It's not just turning your cheek for another slap. God is not calling you to be a beating bag, but, through His word, be a channel of His love towards others.
When you are in that situation, just talk to God, He'll tell you what to do, how to handle it, what to say, and show you how to be strong in Him.
I'm praying for you as Jesus prayed for Peter. And when you have overcome, you may be a witness to lead others to Jesus Christ, God's Love.
