This book is about my personal pursuit of God: seeking God and desire for intimacy with God. When you lean in on God, you will soon discover that intimacy with Him leads to supernatural God-given experiences. It is impossible to have an intimate relationship with God and to avoid the supernatural. If you are not experiencing the supernatural, then you may want to ask just how intimate is your relationship with God? This is my prescribed recommendations for seeking and finding God:

-Seek salvation through Jesus Christ. Ask Jesus to save you by believing that He was born to a virgin through God’s Holy Spirit, became a divine sinless human, lived and was crucified as a perfect substitute for all of our transgressions and rose again to reign at the right hand of God eternally. And through repenting of all the evil and sins in your life to Him you can be saved (John 3:16). Once you believe and accept Christ as your savior, tell someone to confirm your decision and seek other followers of Christ for support. Pray for Jesus to lead you to such people. Do not worry about making yourself a better person before you do this—it is impossible to be the kind of person God wants you to be before you make this decision. So just, come as you are no matter what you have done in your life.

-Turn (from your former ways—evil and sinfulness) and follow Christ by believing in Him and reading His guidebook for life—the Holy Bible. Ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit to understand the Bible and He will give it to you.

-Find a Bible-believing church (that believes in Jesus as the only Son of God, crucified for our sins) to attend and to be with other church-goers and your new family of God.

-Seek to be baptized in water to publicly declare your love for Christ (and what He did for you) and for the Father, and Holy Spirit.

-Pray every moment you can (praying is simply talking to the Godhead: Jesus Son of God, the Holy Spirit of God, and God the Father) by repenting for sins, praising God, seeking guidance for your life, thanking God, and sharing your thoughts about everything, and by talking to God. You do not need any special ritual to pray—just talk to God, right where you are anytime, anywhere.

-Pray to be baptized and filled by the Holy Spirit and that He would come into your life. Pray for Jesus to be more than just your Savior but, for Him to be your Lord and Master. Surrender your life wholly to Jesus with no reservations—give it all to Him without knowledge of what this might mean that you trust Him fully for your future.

-Continually ask Christ for help in everything—help for understanding His Word when you read it, help for understanding holiness and handling the sin in your life, help for decisions you need to make daily, and help in seeking Him.

-Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

-Love your neighbor (everyone else) as yourself.

Seek God in these ways and I promise you will find Him. He is not far from any of us and desires for intimacy with His loved ones—namely you.

Here are some more verses about becoming a Christian:

John 1:12: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 5:6-8: For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9-10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 12:1-2:I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
