Spiritual development of postulants, novices and brothers of the OSA is guided by the Holy Spirit and assisted by the Bishop Abbot, Dr. John L. Simons, OSB, OSA.

Academic development is accomplished through course work at the Saint Alcuin Theological Seminary or through the Saint Vincent DePaul Regional Theological Seminary.
