December 31, 2018

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

The St. Alcuin House Seminary is pleased to announce that the SAHS is now open and has added an additional 702 new course videos to the course library.

In our new format, SAHS will be offering degreed programs for a select number of new students who have successfully completed an online application and have been officially approved by the admissions committee.

As always, the SAHS will continue to be open as an independant study program for all students interested in learning more about the love of our Savior, Jesus the Christ.

All current students who are in the process of completing their degree programs are encouraged to contact John McMahon, OSA, Academic Dean, when they are near the completion of their program requirements.

Current and new non-degree seeking students who will be able to utilize all the resources and classes available on our website at no cost. There has never been a tuition fee charged for students of SAHS.

I would encourage you to check the website for our “current course offerings” as often as possible.

In the meantime, I would encourage you in your studies, and will ask our Lord to continue to guide and direct you in your ministries and spiritual formation.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and if I can be of any further service, please do not hesitate to contact me at or use the contact form on the SAHS website.

May God's Blessings be with you always.

Mark 9:41-43

New International Version (NIV)

41 Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because
you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward.

42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble,
it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck
and they were thrown into the sea.
43 If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life
maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.
