Nursery

Nursery is available during our service for all children 2 & under.  Our nursery is staffed by volunteers who rotate on a monthly basis if you wish to remain in the service, or, we also provide an audio feed of the service to the nursery.

Sunday School

Every Sunday at 10:15, following the children's teaching.  Sunday school is available for all children ages 3 & up.  Once a month, the children visit Forest Grove Seniors Centre.

Adopt a Sunday School Child

This ministry is a tie in with Sunday School.  It pairs up a child in our Sunday School with an adult in the parish.  The child gets a mailbox on the wall and once a month the adult is to fill it with something, perhaps a card or candy, or anything else.  The adult also commits to pray for this child on a regular basis. 

The purpose of this ministry is to let the children know that they are loved in the body of Christ, and also to make adults more aware that they bear responsibility for bringing up the next generation of Christ followers.

All children currently have a pair-up but as more children come in to the church, mail boxes will be added, and connections will be made.  It is the goal of this ministry that all adults will have a child that they have committed to.

The Role of Liturgy

Liturgy is simultaneously the work of the Church and the work of God. When we go to Mass and participate in theand what He is doing.  Each liturgy, we celebrate God and His power, purposes, and priorities. Entering into our Lord’s ongoing sacramental mysteries through the dynamic action of the Holy Spirit, we are compelled to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.
