The Church of God in Portland, TN are one of many located throughout the world. In each of our local churches we bear the same name, the same Biblical teachings, operate within the same governmental principles as outlined in the scripture, and have the same General Headquarters (located in Cleveland, TN). Our mission is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19,20) that Christ entrusted in our care when He organized The Church of God in A.D. 28. In fulfilling that commission, we purpose to spread the whole message of Jesus Christ to the whole world by every means available, and to equip the born again believer to fight the good fight of faith. |
