Arusha Vineyard is part of the Association of Vineyard Churches. The church was planted in 2005 out of the Karen Vineyard Nairobi by missionaries, Gary and Judy Woods. In 2009, the senior leadership of the church was passed on to David and Judi Owens, who have pastored Vineyards in both Australia and Canada.

In October 2010, we moved to our own location just outside of the Arusha CBD (see map & transport options). 

We are a multi-cultural, English-speaking congregation. Our style is relaxed, where you can come dressed informally or smart as you might choose. Our music worship style is predominantly mellow rock, drawing mostly from our own movement, heavily supplemented by Soul Survivor and the like. Our goal in our congregational singing is to connect with God in an intimate, authentic way, as we both receive His love and express in turn our awe, love and appreciation for Him and for all that He has and is doing in our lives and community.

Our teaching is Bible-based, relevant and practical.

We highly value inter-personal relationships, meeting a half hour before the service (10am) to enjoy drinks and light food together.
