In 2 Chronicles 7:113-14 God explains to his people an interesting scenario which reads: When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, (14) if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
One of the signs of God healing the land in response to the prayers of His people is rain upon the land. Stanly County and the Pee Dee region (including Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, and Anson counties (in addition to Stanly) had been in a moderate drought for several months. As the first image below illustrates the conditions on April 2, 2013, the conditions had remained virtually unchanged since late November when I first started monitoring the website NCDrought.org.
APRIL 2, 2013:
In late April immediately following the Carolina Align with Israel Conference held April 26-27 it began to rain in the region. The Charlotte area experienced record rainfalls from rain that began falling at the end of the confernce (we had to load our equipment in the rain)! The next image illustrates the change that was occurring.
APRIL 30, 2013:
Notice that the tan (representing moderate drought has disappeared entirely. Now let's progress a couple of weeks and see the current status.
MAY 13, 2013:
Notice that no area is in more than Abnormally Dry conditions and even though the yellow has shifted slightly, it is also shrinking. I expect to see even more reduction in these conditions over the next few weeks.
I believe we are seeing this change as a result of the actions taken in aligning with Israel as was done at the recent conference and the recent efforts of intercessors working with us to divorce Baal and the other principalities from this region. God honors His Word and we praise him for the results and His mercy!
