This familiar spiritual is what we ask. We want to know our Heavenly Father.  God is there for us and will grant our request to have A Closer Walk with Him.  God is happy to walk with us, to share our burdens, to guide us safely to the shore of His Kingdom.  He wants us to walk with Him as he did with Adam, in the Garden of Eden.  It is God’s purpose to have relationship with us.  That is the reason why He created us in the first place.

Psalm 127:1 states,” Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”

Mission Statement: 

A Closer Walk is a Ministry for Men, Young Men, and Boys that have a desire to stay clean, sober, and seek God.  The sole purpose of this ministry is to give men and our youth a chance to get on their feet. Coming from the streets, to this Ministry, then back into Society.  The Ministry will be teaching them to be productive, responsible, and accountable, to have love, faith, and hope, to gain honesty, humbleness, and wisdom, all coming from the Word of God.
