Change--the one constant in life. God is leading me into a new phase of life at the moment. I am begrudgingly taking that path. I feel somewhat like I imagine the Israelites felt when they were delivered from Pharaoh and led out of Egypt into the wilderness. Part of me longs for the security of being under Egyptian rule. The other part of me yearns for the Promised Land that God has planned for me. So I set out for the wilderness, with my knapsack, and determine to walk by faith and not by sight. I trust in God to provide my daily manna, for my clothing and shoes not to wear out, as I wander in this wilderness for I don't now how long. For He has promised to meet my every need according to His riches in glory. May He be my pillar of fire by night and my pillar of cloud by day to direct me in the way I should go. Help me not to be double minded, Lord, as I seek your face and your will for me.
